Sync 4” screen to sync 3 8” screen issue

Sync 4” screen to sync 3 8” screen issue
Hey guys I’m hoping for a little help possibly.
I recently bought a 2015 F150 with sync 4” screen. I loved having the voice command feature and being able to talk on my phone through the truck using BT.
I bought a 8” screen, Apim, and bezel out of a 2018 STX from a user on this site. Also bought a harness from 4Dtech and the new usb CarPlay hub.
Everything works awesome! Camera works CarPlay is awesome. Love being able to use waze am maps through my phone.
Now to the issue. When I hit my voice command button the screen shows in text say a command, but nothing comes out from the speakers. It use to beep and say “say a command.”
If I try to make calls it just silences the radio and shows who I called and everything but has no sound out the speakers.
Any help would greatly be appreciated

Check the settings and look for one called advanced prompt or something like that. Basically if you turn it on it won’t read a list of commands you can say just so you can talk sooner. I have it turned on mine just because I didn’t want to wait 5 seconds to tell it to make a call. Take a look there to see if that’s it.
For your Bluetooth issue, you need to reprogram your ACM post swap to get the audio to come through the speakers.

This is the spreadsheet by Airborne Ape I used to get everything including Bluetooth in my swap to work correctly. Scroll all the way down until you see the ACM page.
