Default Sync 3 video discovery

Guy on a FB group discovered this and I've tested and it works.

The catch is the video has to be text messages to you to work. It won't work natively from any other app. So find a YouTube video text it to yourself. Plug in and hit play.

Can you post a video of how you do it?

I'm not sure how to create a video without a second phone. So I'll provide a screen shot from my phone to see how it has to be.

1) go to YouTube and find s video. Click share and copy the link. It cannot be the main URL. That doesn't seem to work.
2) text yourself the link and it should look like how it does in my image.
3) click the play so it plays from your text message and does not go to YouTube

If that doesn't help. Search out 13thegen_f150s on Facebook. There is a thread there from the guy that discovered it.

Tried this on Android and it texts the link vs. a video in the text like an iPhone. When you click on the link it goes to the Youtube app... bummer.

Have ya tried sending multiple links in one text message?

In theory, ya could load up several concerts in one text message basically creating a playlist...If it work's, then ya could send other texts with different links/playlists-->

I had some videos on my Android phone, so I texted one of them to myself to see if this works. The text with the video was not in the list of text messages on the SYNC3 screen. I refreshed the list of texts several times to see if I could make it show up.
