What version of SYNC 3 non nav can I run in my 2016? Added this after I bought the truck. Worked good for a while...now I have Version 3.0 and when playing Amazon music all of the album info has disappeared. Have done a reset of radio and re-install of 3.0. I also have microphone issues unless the app is open on my iphone, it wont work. Phone is running latest update as well....whole Amazon music thing has been acting weird lately....everything up to date as far as music app to. Any help/links would be appreciated. Think I should be able to load something newer than 3.0, probably un-official from ford....?

 

If you want official updates from Ford, find an F150 on eBay that has non-Nav Sync 3 and use that VIN on the Ford Owner site to check for updates. General updates are not VIN specific. You will not be able to go above Sync 3.0.x (where x is the minor build updates) using the official update method.

Dont care about official, mine didnt come with it, i added it. So a couple forscan lines also I see........Ive been told old hardware doesnt work tho? Not sure what year APIM I got when I did upgrade.....
