I'm aware this software is on another post. Do most people usually just wait for this to be officially released from Ford before installing? I have V2.0 currently. I'm hoping this release will correct the problem with the "Traffic List " feature. Any more thoughts?

 

The 2.2 version won't change anything for your truck. It is strictly an update for those with 1.0 or 1.1. 2.2 has not been officially released by Ford for any vehicle other than Lincoln.

 

Bummer, I had the exact same question.

 

I thought it was released for the Mustang and Transit vehicles. I thought I saw that on a google search. Perhaps I'm mistaken.

 

Do we really know that it won't be available for 2.0 users? I don't know why Ford would want to be operating with multiple "latest" software versions for any longer than they have to.
And if us 2.0 users do get the update, it's not true that it won't change anything! We know that we'll at least lose the "$" symbol in the WiFi password entry screen.

 

Ive been hoping it was going to be release for the people with 2.0 because the Pandora app using sync doesn't let you skip using steering wheel controls hell or any controls other than phone which is crap.
