I am looking for a link to upgrade to 1.1 so i can use Apple car play

 

You're not gonna find it until Ford releases it.
6 months or so now of empty promises of "next month" from Ford. New trucks are out now with the update in the same SYNC 3 head, but Ford is giving us all the middle finger.

 

You'll need to upgrade to 2.0 to get that ability and you'll also have to upgrade your USB hub as 2.0 only enables full functionality of Android Auto by itself whereas Carola requires a hardware update.

As Schlotzky said, though, you'll need to get the updated USB hub for the truck for Car Play to work. I don't know the part number of it though. You can still do the firmware upgrade though.

Is there anything that lists what 2.2 does? Mine already has 2.0 so guess this doesn't apply to mine?
