Sync 3 update available

I have Sync 3 and Ford is telling me that mine is up to date, with no option to upgrade. I plugged in my VIN and it says my version is 3.0.20204. This must be for trucks built after 2018, I'm guessing.

Yes, only for vehicles with Sync 3.4. All 2020 F150s and some (maybe all?) 2019s.
On my '16 Lariat that I did the Sync 3 to 3.4 upgrade about 2 years ago(?), after adding the TCU about a week ago, Sync went to v. 23088 and maps upgraded to 2 22 over the air..I was on v.22251 and 2 21 maps. The difference for me is in the maps, the newer streets in our subdivision now show up as streets instead of fields . Curios if I get the next update OTA?

There's something to be said for leaving well enough alone. I don't think any new functionality has been added since 3.4 came out, and that only added a few minor options and aesthetic changes. That update screwed up Bluetooth and Travel Link for about 4 months before the next update to fix everything.

Did the install to update the software, took all of 30 minutes or slightly more to finish. Update allows the flashdrive in the USB port to play and keeps track of where it left off. have turned truck off and back on four times to check it is working.. Only issue is it takes a minute for it to find the USB drive. Had that issue prior. Looks like the update works
