SYNC 3 Navigation Question
Does the Ford Navigation have a feature similar to Garmin, where you can tap on the arrow/icon to remember and allow you to name the exact location you are currently parked? I find that useful when trying to get back to places that are not necessarily known by an address or a POI.
Not trying to be snarky or anything, but go to Ford Owners website and download the SYNC supplement.

You guys don't have a Garmin do you?
To the op, no the Navigation does not have what your looking for. But you can tap the red arrow, then hit the start button, then save it.
An extra step is added in there.

Yes, I have a Garmin. Those would be custom POI files then. And no, SYNC Nav does not allow custom POI files. Reading his post, I did not interpret it as asking that question.

He is not trying to make a custom POI, just save his current location.

I somehow managed to save my house location when I had the map version 1.16, since it didn't have my (10-yr old) subdivision. But it just saved it as the closest street, rather than exact coordinates. The OP didn't say if he's looking for exact coordinates, but I haven't seen any coordinates, or option to show coordinates on my nav, except when I stomped on the equivalent of 'Where am I', and saw coordinates (at least I remember I did. Ha ha. Need to check again), but I think without altitude. My other car shows altitude... but I could have that backwards
. I used to know all those things the first day I owned a car, but I'm getting older. Ha ha. Plus have more than 1 car, so that makes it harder, especially with so much electronic and menu crap nowadays.

That sounds like a nice feature, but don't remember seeing that when reading the manual. Maybe I need to read it again
