Sync 3 differences from V2.0 to 2.2
Do you need the dealer to update? I see the truck can connect to WIFI, I connected the truck to my phone (hotspot) and then selected UPDATE. After a lot of time, I get a message that the truck failed to connect, something like that.
I wanted to connect to WIFI and then check for updates and let the system update itself. Is this correct?

It an issue on 2017s. V2.0 did not work on mine. I read plenty of posts on this forum about the issue. So I upgraded.
I did notice the OP has a 2016 so maybe it's not an issue for him.
