Unhappy Sync 3 Camera Quality

I recently purchased a 2015 KR and upgraded from Sync 2 to 3.
Now, I’m wondering about the quality or resolution of the back-up and surround cameras.

I put a $200 head unit and $30 back-up camera in my wife’s Lexus.
The video is like a 4K TV – bright and detailed!
Every time I drive her car, I reminded how low-res the cameras are on our trucks…so annoying!

So….do the cameras on newer F150’s have higher resolution?
Would a simple camera change increase resolution on a Sync 3 system?
Anyone try to upgrade the cameras?
If so, did it help?
What camera did you use?
(my Lexus has a simple Amazon camera)

Thanks-To-All!...

I feel the video quality is limited by the screen rather than the camera. My truck has sync 3 but did not come
with a backup camera. I added one to the factory system and enabled it with forscan. My video quality looks the same as every other F150 I’ve seen regardless of what camera I use.

I upgraded the one in my 2013 i used to have with one from Camera Source when it went out. It was much higher res than the factory one.

It doesn't look like they make a replacement for 15+ though

I don't think you have a resolution issue. On my 2017 the camera needs to have a contrast or black level adjustment. I am a photographer and I can make a good picture look just as crappy as the F-150 camera by adjusting a few sliders in Lightroom.

It's more like a "Turtle" than a Turd - it's a smooth ride and pushed by 400hp but it has a lot of mass.
Ours is a 2001 - inherited from parents who bough it new and didn't know about back-up cameras or navigation back then so I added a simple ApplePlay system....Still it's a GREAT ride!

but the camera on my '15 F150....blah!

Any ideas?
