So it looks like with Sync 3 you can download apps. Does anyone know where this list of available apps can be found?

Agreed there aren't many but I hope there are more soon. I love the Pandora integration. It fully integrates into the voice controls and such.

 

The only apps that matter for sync3 are android auto / apple carplay, and the update to enable them hasn't been released yet.

 

Any idea when the update will be out?

I don't think anyone thinks it is the best now. Like the iphone when it first came out it was weak compared with what we have today. But with this system the hardware is there we are just waiting on the software to come along.
