Hard to believe automakers have not learned yet... would it not be better to have 75% of customers upgrade at a reasonable price than only 25% upgrade at an astronomical price? May be same revenue, but much greater customer satisfaction... For $50 or less I'd probably take every annual update. For $150, I will not buy any, and just use my cell phone.

Some guys are still wanting 75 bucks or more for it on ebay. A couple of them for bid are still around 30 bucks

There will be lots of A7 cards (used) on the market as soon as A8 gets released. They're just trying to make a few $$$s before Ebay is overrun with outdated A7 cards.
