I posted this in for sale stuff in a thread where a gent sells sync 3 upgrades but want to post here as well as there is more exposure.

I have a 2016 reg cab with what I believe is a sync 1 (the buttons below the display all have an O on each).

Im severely handicapped in my right arm and would like to upgrade to auto climate for obvious reasons. Is there a way to do this? I know Id have to go to sync 3 because you cant buy a bezel (I dont think) with a 4" display in it. Wondering if someone I could order a sync 4 upgrade for a different vin and change the vin after I get it or something like that.

Thanks, Ive been down that rabbit hole, head still spinning. What bothers me is on all the sync 1 to 3 upgrade "kits" they all say manual climate cannot be upgraded to Auto.

Im assuming its because stuff breaks if you have heated seats etc.. Which I dont care about, But its a lot of money to cross your fingers on.
