Can I use Android Auto and Apple play at the same time?
My music is on iPhone but Waze is on Android phone with data plan.

 

I believe only one projection session can be active at any given time - so you would not be able to do this.

How about move the iPhone music to the thumbdrive? You can have USB music and AndroidAuto running at the same time (I've done it myself)

 

Move the music to the android phone and be done with 2 devices.

The other option is to connect the iphone via bluetooth and play the music that way. But option 1 is probably the best. Get down to 1 device.

 

I came into this thread thinking the OP was going to suggest using Harley oil in our trucks .

 

Does sync 3 support multiple Bluetooth connections? I thought AndroidAuto used both the USB connection and Bluetooth simultaneously. If this is the case you couldn't have the iPhone over Bluetooth at the same time as AA.

Edit - confirmed AA requires bluetooth for HFP (Hands Free Protocol) for voice calls. So you are not able to connect another bluetooth device while AA is running. Source of information

Makes sense. So you're right, put it on a usb thumb drive or move it to the android phone.

 

Now you know Amsoil is better than Syn3 in Harleys
