Default sway while towing

I had a 2010 f150 with the 5.4l quad cab long box and now i have 2015 5.0l quad cab long box and same trailer as before "27ft travel trailer"and towing now if theres a slight sidewind im all over the road as before it was steady as a rock ,tried more tongue weight same thing, more air in tires no success ,anyone experience the same thing?...Cure?
i feels like back end is floating ,the ride is better while towing softer ride so i suspect the rear helper springs not holding up weight as the older truck as the new one is lighter...gona try shimmy the helper springs rubber pads adding another layer of rubber on top of the original rubber pad on the helper spring so it" engages faster" less floating i hope
any thoughts ...suggestions?

I put airbags on mine and it made night & day difference.

I guess it's because the new trucks are much lighter than the older ones.

I added Timbrens & Hellwig sway bar, helped however if I get any sort of crosswinds she feels a little loose. My tongue is close to 900lbs and my loaded weight is 7200lbs on a 29ft travel trailer. I expected a much more solid truck, I came out of an Armada that was more solid then my 2016 F150.

I added a Curt "friction sway control bar"
like this :

It made a big difference.

Many here have noted less sway with LT tires.

Well i added the extra layer of rubber shims held with a tie wraps on front and back of helper spring its about half inch thick and wow what a difference! the truck stopped swaying on sidewinds and a lot more stable while towing now! didnt think 4 pieces of rubber would make such a difference!
i guess the weight of the trailer and having those rubber shims engages the helper spring faster or earlier and makes it more stable...

I had a similar experience yesterday. Several years ago I used my 2010 Supercrew 5.5' bed to tow a car hauler with a 1995 F150 reg cab lwb and it did great. I was surprised how well it did. I even had to catch myself a few times because I was well over the speed limit. Yesterday, I used my 2016 Supercrew 5.5' bed to use a similar trailer with a 1971 F100 reg cab lwb which is several hundred pounds lighter and the sway was horrible. I couldn't go over 55. I realize the way it had to be loaded was front heavy with a lot of tongue weight, but it was the same conditions for both trucks. Really disappointed.

I use an E2 800# trunnion weight distribution hitch with my 4k TT, and I have no issues. I believe the rear floating means more weight needs distributed to the front. These things return the normal height to the truck, and keep the trailer rock solid behind you. Made by Fastway. My 2 cents.
