Default Surprise

I'd like to share my first race results from yesterday. My dad has a 2013 Screw with 5.0. I have a 2015 Screw with 2.7 Eco. Both have 3:73 gears. He said he wanted to "spank my little engine's *****". Well, for any of you that have the non aluminum body F150's with the 5.0 & want to spank somebody with your big ole V8 engine & loud rumbling exhaust, word of advice.....DON'T EVEN TRY IT.....you will get embarrassed by a 164 cubic inch engine, VERY BAD !!! It wasn't even a contest, I never saw him....but heard that nice loud exhaust getting fainter & fainter.....lol His only response was "WOW" Ford has done their homework on these trucks. A couple of my buddies have 2015 F150's also, I'm trying to get them to the drag strip for some grudge racing but they keep backing out, both of them have the 5.0 as well. They both saw how bad I beat my dad & don't think the aluminum body will help their cause that much....lol

If by TT you mean Toyota Tundra, I had a 2008 5.7 Tundra that caught fire burned to the ground....along with it's bad *** engine. Six months later I get a paper in the mail from Toyota about a "potential" fire hazard from the passenger side wiring harness running too close to the exhaust manifold

No I bought it to do whatever I feel like doing in it.....racing, towing, driving 10 mph under the speed limit or whatever else I can think of at the moment. My intention wasn't to race but he insisted so I obliged him.

Yeah that little 2.7 is pretty impressive. I had a 2011 EB Screw and traded for a new 2015 5.0 Scab. I never owned an 8 in my life and wanted to have one before they go extinct. Love it so far and it does sound good all the time. I know my EB felt quicker and never gave me any issues.

How is that 2.7 on gas? I know my 3.5 ate gas hard if ya didn't lay off the turbos. I could get 24 US mpg at 50 mph on a flat road but, I think she drank it faster than a 6.2 when ya honked on it.
