Default Stuck in Milvindale

Hello Everyone,

Quick question. My truck was built and it has been sitting in Milvindale for almost 10 days and hasn't changed. Anyone know what is going on there?

Melvindale is right next to the Dearborn plant. It has a rail shipping yard behind the Marathon refinery. Some trucks are driven over there to be shipped by train. Maybe it's sitting over there waiting for a car to fill up goingto the same destination.

Thanks! Now is the aggravating part. I could have flown to Michigan and drove it back by now! Thanks again for the info!

You're welcome.

You think your situation is frustrating? My dad ordered a Mustang. It was built on June 4th and it's still sitting at the assembly plant. His dealer is 12 miles south of the plant.

Trafficman I live about 1/4 of a mile from rail yard drove by there today and didn’t see not one truck in yard. I don’t think they have started production back up yet.

I hope the thing is on a train already. I am worried about 7/9 coming quick and my incentives will go bye bye. Thanks for the heads up!

I talked to someone that works at plant. He said they started production back up two weeks ago. he said truck surplus they had is gone.thus no truck in yard. But he said they shipping them out as fast as they make them. Hopefully your is on truck or train already.

I don't know the process for tracking progress here, but maybe it is like a UPS Ground shipment. It shows the last scan and won't update until it reaches the next scan point. Meanwhile it is on the move. Although the last UPS scan will say what the scan was for: arrived at such and such place; left such and such place; etc.

Just trying to give you hope.

Not how it works. Tracking will show when it is shipped and also display the railcar number. It will then update on various points through the trains progress until it reaches the unload point and transferred to the company that delivers it to the dealer.

That's how it works with the tracking software Ford and the dealers use. Using COTUS to track is very unreliable and could be many steps behind.
