Default Storage Option for Bed

I was looking around for some storage options for the bed. I found these at home depot for 25 ish bucks and picked up 3. For me, these are going to work out well as I can store my hobbies (tools, mtb/bike gear and more tools) in each and then quickly put them in the garage if i need a clean bed. Also keeps things in place and not rolling around. As you can see, it is very close to the cover so little space is wasted. I will place 2 side by side and one across the back.

Good idea, but I've given up. For the amount of crap I end up with in my truck I should have bought a Freightliner instead of an F150.

I have one of these. Bought when it was on sale.

I can hook you up with a sick *** lease through Penske on whatever you need dude. Sleeper, 26ft. box truck with a ramp/LG combo, 53ft. dry van trailer. Just got some fly M2s and Cascadias in. Plenty of space to store ALL of yo s#!+. Let me know!

But for real, you forget how much stuff is "necessary" when you have a ton of space to store it in a vehicle.

I use several totes in the bed of my truck to hold/control/contain hobby items. I have one of those "cargo bars" set over the wheel wells to keep the totes from sliding forward and with the TG closed, and tonneau cover down/latched, nothing moves for the most part.

Sorry, but unless you put a pull rope on them to pull them to the tailgate for access, totes suck when you can’t reach them without lifting up the tonneau cover. Why I spent the $$ on swing out storage bins, generic Undercover types. You can add pulls to the totes by screwing eye screws through them into a wood block to prevent rip out on thinner plastic. Some of the roto molded cases are thick and reinforced enough to just drill rope holes in.

Thanks for the thoughts fellas, but it's hopeless! In a few months I'd be pulling a road train with an onboard machine shop and a complete welding department.
Do they have "meetings" for guys with this problem?
