Stock Raptor rear bumper on XLT Sport???
Has anyone thrown on a stock 17-18 Raptor rear bumper (color matched) on their non-Raptor F150? Just throwing around the idea of finding a take off, getting it painted to match my lightning blue XLT Sport and then run a dual Raptor style exhaust. Something a little different but, at the same time, subtle but unique.

I had a shop weld in a Y pipe after factory muffler and bend new pipes to the rear. I color matched the raptor bumpers. If you buy a set, make sure you get the mounting/reinforcing braket that goes with it. Top step pad is the same.

Damn that looks good. Did you buy it brand new or find a take-off? Do you have any other pics...looks like it lines up to the body lines just as the stock bumper does.

Just before Raptor exhaust
With Raptor exhaust
I did the Raptor bumper in November just before installing complete Raptor exhaust. I spent more on the bumper than I should have. I grabbed the first take off I found for nearly $400 but it included the top piece and the bolts. PTM was about $220. But, I am happy with it. You can find the end pieces with mounting brackets for $75 up. IMO, I think the Raptor exhaust looks better with the Raptor bumper. But, dual exhaust looks great no matter which bumper you use. If I had been using an after market exhaust, I probably would have left the original bumper on, but I used all the OEM hangers/brackets and didn't want to modify the tailpipes.

I think it sounds good. I haven't heard it from outside yet. But, from inside it sounds good with no drone. I've had a couple of people tell me it sounds good when I'm getting on it. I have the Corsa Raptor resonator delete x-pipe which makes a difference. A friend with the complete stock exhaust says mine sounds better than his Raptor. Sorry, but no sound tracks. I made one but haven't figured out how to post it.

Both trucks look great...the Raptor bumper and dual exhaust is the way these trucks should have came (or atleast an option). Now to track down a bumper...
