Default Stock?

As a member of the F150 community I've learned that owning the number one sold vehicle sold in The USA (forever.. And not even close you Silverado fans) means there is no limit to the amount of customization available. I just perused a thread on a LOWERED Lariat and God knows how many lift kits are sold. Special wheels.. Aftermarket Lighting. The F150 is the Harley Davidson of trucks! No two have to be alike! Mine's still stock. Oh the usual.. Bed liner.. Tonneau Cover. Dealer stuff. Anyone else out there STOCK? I'm not talking work trucks I know you guys ain't got the time..what about the rest of you? Am I special cause I haven't changed it?

I usually dive in to changing stuff on my cars. But I don't feel that connection to this truck yet so its stock except for a bedliner, tint, and exhaust. I did order some Dick Cepek Blackout wheels that I loved but they wouldn't clear the calipers, so it's just gonna remain stock til I decide whether or not I'm keeping it

I was close to leveling mine but pulled out at the last minute. Still stock except for tint and tonneau cover. Wanted to keep it stock, get a feel for it and make changes for the right reasons beyond cosmetic. I've rushed in to plenty of mods before on other vehicles only to regret them. Taking this one slow and very well may keep it stock.

I'm boring I prefer stock... all I added was a bed cover and 20" wheels/tires (stock size)... like the way it sits as is and looks as is..

Same here. I am not very knowledgeable about car/truck mechanics. I had a Ranger then a 2012 F150 Supercrew and now in a 2015. No bells or whistles on it. Got a bed liner and folding tonneau cover because we either do a few dump runs a year or carting stuff to and from the trailer.
I find it odd reading this forum that so many people like the trucks, but then do so much to change them having already spent a small fortune on the cost of actually just buying the vehicle to begin with.

I agree... obviously to each his own... but changing too much on the trucks also changes the engineering on them.. how they handle, drive, perform etc... Plus they're already HUGE in size as is... making them wider with tires, or taller with lifts etc.. just not for me..

But again, a free country

Mine is fpr now. Will get a 2" level but probably not much else- functional over form. I'm just not into spending money on changing vehicles like I did 25 years ago. Some times I think of all that cash I could have spent in something else that was useless.

completely agree... i've spent way too much money on cars/trucks period... traded too many times...

time to hang onto this for several years and save the money....

Only had it a couple weeks but, other than a spray in liner, it's stock. I am one who also likes them that way. Also have an '04 Mustang Cobra that's still stock and that does make it unique☺. May well do some front window tint and a tonneau but not immediately and that would be about it..
