Default Steering

I have a 2015 SCREW, 5.5 bed, XLT, 2.7, 4x4. The truck is completely stock. The truck keeps pulling to the right. I have had at the dealer three times for this issue, the second visit they replaced the electric steering unit . I took it back after a couple of weeks with the new steering unit installed and told them it was still pulling to right. It was reprogramed again and said it was all within Ford specs. Anyone have any ideas? maybe the Yaw sensors? I was told that the Yaw rate sensors adjust to road pitch and in turn the steering unit compensates for this.

I believe this is a "safety" feature. The thought behind it is you're normally in the right lane. If you happen to fall asleep at the wheel, you'll drift right (away from traffic). Once you're out of the lane, you'll hit those bumps built into the shoulder and you'll wake up.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

Check your tire pressures? If the tires are low on the right, then it will pull to the right. (being serious)

Does it happen on all roads? Some are crowned more than others.

You're wrong. The car should go straight down the road, if there is no crown pulling it to the right.

The EPS should actually have pull/drift compensation that will adjust for road crown/crosswind/suspension misalignment and get the car running straight again, based on the constant driver HW torque required to overcome the above issues.

As for a solution, if the alignment is perfect, rotating tires has no effect, and the EPS has been replaced and properly flashed, the OP might be right.. Some other message could be sent to the EPS causing this issue...

SSM 45685: Effective Mar 3 2016

2015-2016 F-150 - Steering Pull/Drift/Wander - No Diagnostic Trouble Codes - Built On Or Before 9/24/2015

"Some 2015-2016 F-150 vehicles built on or before 9/24/2015 may exhibit a drift, pull, and/or wander concern. To address the concern, reprogram the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) to the latest level using IDS version 99.03 or higher and attempt to re-verify the customer concern. If the customer concern is still present, then continue with normal WSM diagnostics. The updated calibration has improvements to the Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) compensation. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates."
