Just wondering if anyone else may have this issue. I have a 2018 5.0, if I drive for 30 min or more and stop for a few minutes then try to start the truck again sometimes the starter will drag like the battery is dead then start, or won't start at all, just clicks. I thought it was battery issues but even with a booster or a jump from another vehicle it still won't start, if I let the truck sit for 15-20 min, it starts like there was never an issue. Starter overheating or worn out? Doesn't happen every time, very intermittent.

 

 

What does the starter look like? Is the braided wire corroded?
