I was pulling some trim pieces yesterday to see where things ran and I noticed that the start/stop button is simply one pigtail harness... Anybody done or considered doing a new location for the start/stop button? I'm not entirely sure where but I was thinking somewhere in the infotainment system? Maybe above the screen? Something like the 'Stangs have where the start'stop button is integrated into the infotainment stack would be sweet...
You'd obviously have to move harnesses and buttons and cut the infotainment panel cover to make room for the start stop button, but I think that would be an interesting thing to think about doing!
Thoughts?

Purely looks... to each his own. Some people think certain upgrades look good while others think they look awful. I think it would be an interesting idea to consider; some people might disagree. Like I said, it would be similar to the Mustang sort of to have it integrated into the infotainment stack somehow
Interesting. Is it just a two-wire harness for a momentary button, or a four-wire for momentary plus lighting? If so, it seems like it would be relatively easy to repurpose a button that's already on the center of the dash, if you've got one you don't use. Well, as long as you do your own work on your truck and don't use valet parking.

If I recall correctly it was a 4-wire setup. If you were to try and move the button, the hard part would be cutting a hole somewhere in an existing trim piece and making it look good... In terms of what would go where the existing button is now:
a James Bond fire missiles or seat eject button obviously LOL

Your liability costs might go up, though.
