Default Start Button

Is it just me or does the Start Button seem to be a little bit loose on the 2015's? After I had my Audio system installed I noticed it was loose. I took to dealership but was surprised when they let me try one of the new trucks on the lot and was the same. I'm not talking about moving it an inch but maybe a little less than a centimeter. Considering it is what turns on the truck I wanted to check with everyone else who has the push-start.

Mine moves a little, I wonder how you reach in to tighten back nut or if it has one.

The experts should be by in a few...

Given the last few years in the auto industry, probably not a bad idea to be mindful of the ignition area.

Mine seems pretty okay, but will pay closer attention when I leave work this afternoon.

Yeah, mine moves around a bit....nothing I'm worried about.

The last few years of key recalls have been due to incompetent drivers IMO. How the heck to do hit the key with your knee enough to turn of the vehicle? Maybe they shouldn't be wrapping their legs around the steering column!!! lol Or people hanging the weight a brick on your key chain....common sense.

Mine is loose also. I brought it to the attention of my dealer. They checked several on their lot, and indicated all were loose. I am going to keep an eye on mine.

Mine seems the same as on a '13 Escape and a '14 MKX I previously owned.

Anyone know how to remove the start button or the panel it is in? A little dab of RTV from the back would fix it.
