Dealers are notorious for not reporting pending codes. Often times if the check engine light is NOT ON they just say there are no codes without even hooking up their scanner. I’m always amazed how many dealers a customer must go through just to get a VCT solenoid replaced to solve their problem.

Anyway, the PCM is very good at reporting many problems but it requires someone to read it using either Forscan or the Ford equipment. A regular code reader is not going to provide the information you need.

Without these results everybody is just guessing at what might be wrong. Since you’ve replaced many components already my suggestion is to eliminate the VCT system as the culprit. Forscan will absolutely tell you if it’s working correctly or not!

Changing your oil regularly is a preventative measure. It’s unlikely to correct a problem once it has occurred.

Update on stalling. since dumping fuel water remover in the gas on the next two fill ups, at the end of march. Only once did it shutter and stall after comming off the hiway to a stop light.
I'm thinking its some crapy gas. because it's running fine for the last 3 weeks.
Not being an auto mechanic I'm thinking it was just crapy gas.

Ok update its shuttering again all the tine, not just once or twice every few weeks. 20% oil life. It seems sensitive to dirty or worn oil. cvt cam phaser.

So it’s not doing it after a fresh oil change but doing it when the oil is reaching the end of life?

Im a day late and probably a dollar short, but check the cylinder head temp sensor. When this part goes out, your pcm believes the truck is over heating and will load the cylinder with gas to cool it off. That overloading causes stumbling and in some cases the truck to die. Ask me how I know 😂
