More shocks again
So I do not off road. I got a 4 wheel drive for the snow. Looking for better shock that oem. Ride quality is what I am after. I think bilstein would be a waste of money.
Any suggestions?
I was looking at these.

While I do not have any experience with these on a 4WD F150, after around 80k miles in my Ram 1500 (2017 2WD), I replaced the worn out factory shocks with these and it was night and day difference. Better than OEM ride quality, and that era of Ram had the best ride quality from the factory I've ever experienced in any truck. I'm thinking about replacing the OEM shocks on my 2018 with a set of these on all 4 corners, even though it only has 35k miles on it. It is pretty stiff and bouncy as is.
Way would Bilstein be a waste of money if you want good ride quality? 4600’s would be perfect in this application. Only downside is they’re yellow and blue and will rust.
Coating them just like other frame and suspension parts would keep them rust free though.
I personally went with 5100’s. My truck is not lifted or leveled, has stock size tires and it never leaves pavement. They ride great.

Off road shock being stiff is an 'old wife's tale" King, Fox, Eibach are known for a soft low speed "ride". Even the term "ride" can be all over the spectrum. Bilsein's rep for hash ride is more based on the digressive valving in 5100/6100 where they are tighter at low speed and more forgiving at higher speeds. KM
