I'll believe it when I see it. Until then...

I don't know where you're located, but I will now not purchase an Armadillo spray-in liner due to your comments. And yes I'm currently comparing my options. I don't want an installer working on my truck that thinks it's petty to expect their truck to look great. Just maybe your statement that bedliners are for protection first and looks second is simply your opinion and doesn't necessarily reflect the opinions of all spray-in customers. Additionally, I'm glad I found out through you that if I got an Armadillo and it needed repair later down the road, that it wouldn't match. That's in stark contrast to my previous experience having a Line-X repaired.

You're the one who asked for opinions

Jeez. Guys it's a frisking spray bed liner. They supposed to look like crap from being used, if you are worried about appearances, just maybe you didn't really need one in the first place.

What? What bed liners are you guys getting that look like crap from being used? The whole reason for bed liner is to keep the bed from looking like crap when being used. LineX in a past truck had rocks and shovels and trailer axles and much more drug across it for years and it still looked like the day it was purchased. My dads current truck has the ford factory spray and even that looks brand new after years of the same abuse.

I damaged the tailgate of my brand new truck. When I went to get an estimate, I was told I could have it repaired for $1300 or replaced for $1700. I decided to go with the new option and was assured that it would be the same, no difference. In other words, nobody would ever be able to tell that it had been replaced. This was clearly a mistake as you can see from the picture. Now they are telling me that it will fade with the sun and should match in the future.

I stopped by another dealership to ask if this would devalue the truck. I was told that the color difference wouldn’t devalue the truck, what would devalue the truck is everyone knowing that it had been in a wreck.

I’d appreciate some opinions here: A) Am I making too big of a deal about this or should I really be upset? B) Do you think this devalues my truck?

Thanks,

John
don't worry about it. get a couple loads of dirt and use it like a truck

Some of the Lyrics are wrong in that video.
