Question Splash Shield Front behind the deflector

Anyone know what part covers this area right before the skid plate. Thanks in advance

There is no factory cover for this other than the Raptor skid plate

I am sure my 18 had a cover in this area. Was rubber held with push pins.

My 2020 does not have a cover there, it is open like the picture that you posted. But I still have my deflector under the bumper to keep most things out.

I believe RCI skid plates cover that up.

Dealer said no cover and it would restrict air flow and cause engine to overheat! Anyone covered it?

It won't cause overheating, but leaving some of that space open may improve airflow through the grill, which would assist airflow through the radiator.

Now, if someone could just magically produce Ford's airflow modeling...
