Default A splash of color needed

Well for first time in my life I bought a white truck. I have almost always had red ones. So looking at I feel it needs a stripe or just of another color. I have a platinum white tri color, with the FX4 package. The FX4 decals are red and I like the way it looks on the white. Anybody put a stripe or a splash of color on the front? Pictures please so I can see what I might like. Thanks.

Platinum White TC is such a great color, and white trucks are so easy to keep clean. Which appearance package do you have? Are your bumpers/mirror caps/door handles chrome or ptm? If everything is ptm then going with black wheels, running boards, grills and other accessories makes for a great look imo, unfortunately my truck is sporting the chrome and I can't justify the cost of replacing it all so I ended up going with a chrome wheel as well, I gotta say it turned out nice and is really growing on me.
If you really want to ad some pop maybe remove and paint the emblems and badges, lots of trucks here are looking great with some subtle changes like that.

Red and blue pinstripe would be my vote. Subtle, but looks awesome. I have seen a blue jean truck with a white and red pinstripe and really like it.

Wrap the mirror caps red and do a red pinstripe. Subtle, but it will really stand out.

A thin red/black pinstripe on the body line above the door handles and emblems would look good, kinda like the 97-08 lariat+ trim levels used to have.

I experimented with red duct tape last month.

I'm still kicking around some other ideas in my head to add something without going overboard.

I was sitting last night drinking an adult beverage, when I looked at the truck in the driveway. I thought about a wide red stripe down the side that took up the entire area on the bottom of the door panels. Sort of like you did in the first picture just solid not split in two. Didn't think about just using tape to see the look. Thanks Mike

The two thicker strips on the bottom are sweet. I'm not a huge fan of the pin strip, but I don't like any pinstripes. I also like the red accents around the F-150 emblem and the Ford oval on the front.

Believe me, it looked WAY better in person than in these pics...I drove it to some serious gearhead friends of mine who don't BS when it comes to our Rides. I didn't like the pin stripe, neither did my friends...They do like the idea of a stripe in the lower location. Now I got slaughtered at this site (To Be Expected) but It's MY truck and...Well, Ya know the saying!!!!

If I install it, then don't like it...Easily removed!

I'm also kicking around testing above the crease from the drop down window to the rear.

I'm going for as close to Race Red as possible, red duct tape was the only thing I could find that was close...I'm leaning towards the black version stripe in a total width of 5"
