Default Speedometer adjustment

I have a 2019 Ford F-150 XLT just went to a larger Tire a 33 X 12.58 Toyo, and I am sure my speedometer is off. Do I need to take it to the ford dealer to recalibrate or can I do it myself?

Do you plan on tuning the truck? If so, you can adjust your speedo for bigger tires with most tuners.

I basically got the tuner to adjust the speedo and get custom tunes. 2 birds, 1 stone. If you know how to use FORscan you can adjust that way too.

To answer your question; no the dealer can not adjust the speedometer. You have to go aftermarket.

You can get a Superchips Flashcal to reset speedometer for less than 200 most places. It offered an online upgrade to make fuii tuner out of it in future if plans change .HTH;

I can't imagine doing that. Just Forscan it.

While I agree with this statement in practice, I said the same thing on another group and was proved wrong. Technically the dealer can do it, but good luck finding one that will.
