Thanks all. I just started a new thread in the audio section with a little more detail on what I’m wanting to do

 

So if one has the "upgraded" Sony system with the sub and amp behind the backseat from the factory, will that be enough to power options if you were just wanting to replace the speakers, or is that a whole other beast in itself? Asking for a friend :/

 

With newer (and better) speakers with sony system most would be happy. However, audio guys would say not good enough though. You have to decide where you fit in....
