Nope...…….rear shocks take 1 socket, 1 wrench, no jack, and about 15-20 minutes total to do both sides (hell I didn't hardly get my hands dirty doing mine)

Save the Manuals!
After replacing the leaf spring pack on my old 2002 Ranger I’ve been taking my trucks to the shop for suspension work. It’s too difficult to jack them up enough safely without a lift. I was able to get the job done on that truck but it scared me enough to know I’m not doing it again.

I agree.. I’ve done some lifts on jeeps but these trucks are heavy. I think for suspension stuff it’s much easier for a professional on a lift.
