Default Something is missing

Team,

I recently purchased a 2019 F150 for my son and I just noticed something might be missing in the engine compartment. Below, is a picture can anyone tell me what might be missing? Thanks!

That's where the turboencabulator is mounted. I'm surprised his truck even runs with it missing.

Looks like the spot the 4x4 solenoid would be. Is his truck a 2wd or 4wd?

That is just a vacuum tank to hold enough vacuum through the one way blue/white check valve and hoses to actuate the front shift on the fly locking hubs for 4wd. IWE system Integrated Wheel End. The thing to the driver's side with the two 90 degree hoses and the electrical connection is the valve that enables when 4wd is selected and it passes vacuum from the tank resevoir through the valve to the hoses going to each of the IWE locking hub assy.

If the truck does not have shift on the fly 4wd then no need for anything in that location.

It’s a 2wd so it makes sense. Thanks for the reply!

Since it's 2wd you can expect a lot of stuff missing.
