Default Slightly taller sidewall,worth it?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of new tires to replace my OEM Goodyear tires. I am pretty sold on these > https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=TerrainCo ntact+A%2FT&sidewall=Blackwall&autoMake=Ford&autoY ear=2016&autoModel=F150%204WD&autoModClar=SuperCre w&partnum=755TR0TCAT&tab=Sizes

My question is, will the ride smooth out at all if I get a 275/60R20 tire vs the 275/55R20? Or is the additional 1/2 of sidewall not worth it?

It should help. You're only talking, what $50 difference in total price? When your spending $800 dollar regardless, what's another $50.

These will be my next set of tires as well. I would personally stick to the original size, which will keep your speedometer and odometer accurate. However, if it's because you find the ride rough from riding on rougher roads, washboards, potholes, offroad etc, then perhaps the bit of extra sidewall might help. And I say MIGHT help. Won't be that much of a difference between 55 and 60...

Thanks guys. I am also waiting on the delivery for a pair of FOX coilovers for the front which will probably smooth out some of the ride while making it firmer under certain circumstances. Just want more stability upfront like I have in the rear with the FOX 2.0s.

So far really loving these tires and the combination with the fox 2.0 coilovers. Did go with the slightly taller tires and looks better too since it's now leveled. Truck is riding so much better where I believe the vibrations are all gone or mostly gone. I have to try pushing it a few times past 80mph to be sure. If I feel something then for sure the rear driveshaft will be replaced as I see a wobble at the dampener on the yoke.

No parking on the sidewalk!

I'd have neighbors giving me the evil eye as soon as I got out of the truck. HOA rules are like gospel to some of these idiots lol
