Default Sirius on Sync 3

I have a 2018 F 150 with a Sync 3 system. Dealer says it can't have Sirius loaded. Doesn't sound right to be. Has a satellite antenna and can access emergency information

Sync 3 and Sirius have nothing to do with each other. Your dealer is an idiot. But I'm betting that if your truck has Sync 3 it will also have Sirius. Is it an XL?

According to Build and Price, you can order Sync 3 without Sirius.

Sat radio is SUCH a ripoff. Why anyone gets it accept MAYBE long-haul truckers is beyond my comprehension. I am already starting to get the threatening letters from Sirius to renew once my 6 months "free" subscription is up. I have a family Spotify account which is 6 full Spotify accounts for $15/month (got more for the kids). That's all you ever need for choice and the free radio is everything else.

I'd love to see one of these "threatening letters". What exactly are they threatening you with?

Spotify doesn't help if you don't have internet access, same goes for free radio, if you live out in the country your on your own. When I go visit family in northern Michigan I have my music on USB, otherwise I wouldn't have anything. Sat radio isn't worth it for me, if I was living there it would be different.

If your truck doesn't have Sirius from the factory, the dealer for the most part not capable of adding it. The ACM has to be replaced and sync 3 programming changed. The antenna may or may not be able to work with the Sirius radio. The existing satellite antenna is for your the GPS in the truck, the emergency info is via your cell phone using the gps information.

I'd report them. Threatening letters of this nature are unacceptable.
