Side mirror turn signal LEDs dim

My side mirrors have the integrated amber LED turn signals and white LED spotlights.
The amber turn signals have 3 LEDs on the front edge of the light fixture that reflect along the length.
The white spotlights have 4 LEDs along the length of the fixture.
My passenger amber turn signal is very dim, only 2 of the 3 LEDs is flashing and they are also about half or less the intensity, but the spotlight is bright like the drivers side.
I'm guessing this is something that is not a repair, but a replacement? If it was just dim I would think there might be a problem anywhere along the circuit, but the fact that only 2 of 3 less is lighting makes me think is the light unit itself. I know there is a Molex with 3 connectors.

Any thoughts before I look to buy a replacement?

I found a used replacement about $35. Debating since it’s such a low priority.
Is there anything “better” might want to change with the side markers? I like the spotlight feature, I use it so don’t want to lose it.
The back shows the metal fins…I think that’s only for the spotlight feature or 4 lLED spotlight feature (not 2 LED).

I think Morimoto has a sequential LED and is also available in a smoked lens IIRC.

COMPATIBILITY
- Ford F-150: 2015-2020
- NOTE: These are replacement assemblies. Your truck must have standard (non-tow mirrors) with mirror lights already. If your truck has factory spot lights in the mirrors, they will no longer function using these.

I'll probably replace the damn light, even though it seems like a waste since the turn signal still works, just dim as a wit.
I think new they are over $100 so $35 seems reasonable.
Just don't like when things are broken or in need of maintenance. That goes for anything.
Maybe I can have them lightly smoked to have the "mod feel" verses "repair blues" haha

Sooooo... I found someone selling both mirror LED turn signals with spotlights AND they are smoked with film to continue my blacking out of my truck.
I only replaced the RH light that was dim with the smoked replacement first. I wanted to compare the new smoked light with the non-smoked at night to see how different it would be since I don't have experience with smoking lights. The original light that was dim I "thought" only 2 of the 3 LEDs were lighting explaining why it was dim even though that didn't quite seem right. Wasn't going to overthink it.
Tonight I finally was able to go look at the lights at night, and I notice that the replacement RH light that is smoked..IS ALSO DIM. It looks like only about a quarter or a third of the light is illuminating, just like the original light. It's not dim because of the smoke, and I can see all 3 LEDs are lighting. I turned on the spotlights and can tell there is a very slight difference between the smoked and non-smoked lights, but it's almost imperceptible. In the daytime, I like the smoking effect.
So now I need to figure out what the problem is. I'll open the mirror and try swapping the original back and see if 2 or 3 LEDs are lighting (for my peace of mind) and see if the 2 mirror lights are experiencing the same degree of dim. I'm curious if the electric connector is not handed so that would let me plug in one of the LH/RH LED lights in the opposite side to determine if I got a second "dim" LED light, or if the turn signal wiring is sending less power?
You can see one of the lights looks “less lit up”. It actually looks a lot better in the pic,
IRL it looks less than half the intensity. And less than half of the actual length of the light.
If the problem isn't that both mirror lights are dim/defective/broken, what would the issue be?

This weekend I finally replaced the drivers side mirror turn signal light with the smoked replacement so now both mirror turn signals are replaced with smoked turn signal/spotlights. To my surprise...this drivers side turn signal also appears "dim" like the passengers side.
What are the odds that one of my two original mirror turn signals is dim, and both smoked mirror signals are dim?
Is it more likely that one of the mirror turn signals is "bright"?
They all have the same part numbers.
Regardless...they match, they work (I think), they look better smoked, so look at me lettinnnnnnnngggggg iiiiiiiitttttttt goooooooooo..........
Debating if I want a Boost Auto module to make the turn signals act as running lights like I had on my F250/F350. But they seem dim and lighting up half the lens, so I don't think so. Plus $100 is a big drop for that.

There is a cheaper blinker genie to make them running lights but when they blink, they don't blink at the same time as your turn signals, they blink opposite IIRC.
