My opinion...Take it and run! I paid right at $3000 with only the fold down front window. No other extras.
You have a great deal, from what I paid, and the quotes other guys have mentioned. Wish I could have done that and saved about $600. This is my third "Z" and I keep coming back! Had one on an '02 F-150 and it still looked good when I sold it in 2013, and it was in Florida the entire time.

Awesome, thanks for the confirmation. I thought it was a good deal considering some of the other quotes I got. 4600.00 was the highest quote I got for the Z, I’m headed over next week to get it done.

Do you have a breakdown of the items? I'd like to add the remote opening to mine and was wondering what the charge was for that.

That isalmost exactly what I purchase but I paid a lot more. I also had a light put in and they charge several hundred for yakima rails. Only had mine a month but so far so good. The fit to my bed isn't great, but its okay. The finish on the fiberglass is pretty good, but again not as good as on the truck. Several coats of wax helped the topper appearance.

I agree with the above. That is a killer deal.

I called on this as well a few months back and was told though there isnt a difference in how the tops are built (with or without) if you add this after purchase/install and it didnt come from factory your paint warranty will be voided. If racks installed at time of build then warranty stays intact.

Default Why ARE Toppers should be avoided

My ARE Topper was ok, nothing special, until there was a problem with the door.
That was the beginning of a sloppy repair job and a runaround trying to contact customer service.
I would never purchase from ARE again.
I’ll be happy to provide further details.

I got my ARE CX Revo installed. Very dissatisfied with the build quality and paint defects. Dealer offered to remove it from the vehicle and I could wait months for a new one. I’m not happy with it, but I also don’t want to deal with sending it back, so I kept it begrudgingly. Will post pics later.

Definitely post pictures. Seems like people have very mixed experiences with ARE. Probably any company for that matter

My topper was an X series, also with the glass door. When the hinge broke (because it was defective) I was told it could not be replaced.
i had no choice but to send the topper back to the factory. The repair job was unsatisfactory and I am left with a crummy topper and ARE does not respond to my complaint.
