My truck pulled my travel trailer great with OEM shocks. Adding Bilsteins in the rear definitely improved my ride with or without the trailer.

I have a 2018 F150 SCREW 3.5 ecoboost and installed Biltein 4600s on the rear. I can tell the difference especially when towing my 22' travel trailer. The ride is a little stiffer unloaded but far better controlled when the road is rough.

I have a 2019 and replaced my shocks at 31k, one rear was totally blown, and one front strut had a small leak. Dirt/Fire Roads is the most "offroading" I do and I tow a 4500# boat/trailer a few times a year. So the truck was definitely not abused.
