Default Shew... Prices

I'm (thankfully) not in the market for a new truck right now as my 11 only has 56k miles.

Ford sure is proud of these new trucks aren't they?!?!

They're nice for sure, but a nicely built REGULAR cab XLT is $40,000!

Definitely need my ol 11 to take me 150,000 plus miles!

Congrats to those who have ordered and are waiting on trucks to come in.

I look forward to seeing some pics of these beauty's!!!

Have you only just now started looking at new-truck prices?

List price on a tolerable 2014 long-box regular-cab XLT 4x4 gets up above $39k without trying very hard. The price of a Lariat Supercrew built "the way I want it" (relatively tricked-out, that is) is quite similar between 2014 and 2015, with more goodies in the 2015.

yeah always knee-jerk reaction on the new truck prices EVERY year. I am sure 50 other people will make a similar thread.

The fact is, XL, XLT and Lariat are all within inflation rate. KR and Plat are more, but they are WAY improved over the 2014.

Just bought my 2014 FX4 for like 14k under MSRP, and while I love the truck it made me cringe thinking about the people who paid close to full price several months beforehand. I guess that's the price of having it first?

In general the 2015 is only $2,000 more than the 2014

Bigest price difference will be in no significant dealer discounts or none at all otherwise seems like maybe 2k more fore 2015s then 2014s but then you do get more and not just different looking one quick example - lariat 502a package gets rear heated seats.

True makes me a bit sick when I think how much that payment is going to be - not much less then my mortgage !!!

Based on the new price and build function for the 2015s, I'd place the Lariat more into the KR and Platinum category. I don't know that they are WAY improved...
