Default Sensor issue

HI guys, I could use some help please.

Started my truck this morning and a message popped up on the dash saying that my pre collision isn't working and to check the sensor.

Drove a couple miles and went to activate my adaptive cruise control and got another message saying there was a problem and to check the sensor.

I also tried to make a phone call and another message tells me my phone isn't connecting.

We're getting some wet snow but certainly not enough to block a sensor.

Any of you mechanical types have any idea what this is all about ?

Everything worked fine yesterday

FWIW, it's a 2019 Lariat 502A with the 3.5

Any help will be much appreciated.

The camera for those features are above the mirror. If there is any type of condensation on the windshield it will block the sensor from reading correctly. This actually just happened this morning for myself after a heavy frost.
My Sync 3.4 also has trouble sometimes auto connecting to my phone and I will have to manually connect it. Coincidence this happened at the same time? Probable. If you have FORScan abilities, you may hook up and see if there are any DTC's. Low voltage can also cause very weird issues such as those as well.

I got that warning this morning also. We had some very light frost, which in the past has been enough to trigger the warning. Heavy snow... forget about it. Multiple sensor warnings.

Thanks for the replies guys, I thought the sensor for the pre collision warning was in the front grill or bumper ?

No frost here this morning and it's above freezing with just a bit of wet snow.

Do this,or try clean both the plastic covers on f bumper, then spray some De-Icer on those two(2) black covers behind the drivers side is a sensor try and clean that with de-icer cotton ball...then spray all see if that works.....

Well, part of it is. The distance sensor is behind the front bumper.

Thanks again guys but whatever the issue wa shas cleared itself now so maybe it had something to do with the wet snow I was driving through this morning.

As for the phone not connecting to the truck, I pulled the sim card out for 10 minutes then re-inserted it and now it also works fine so I'm thinking it was just a coincident that it acted up today.

Was it snowing while you were driving or just snow on the ground. If it was snowing then do not use cruse control. Also it does not take much snow rain the mess with the sensors.

The system includes a radar behind the plastic bumper insert and a camera in the upper part of the windshield. Wet snow could interfere with both. I had a very heavy rain disable it once.
