I'm having second thoughts about what I ordered.
Ordered a XLT 4x4 2.7 Crew with the 301A package and bucket seats.
Only ordered it 10 days ago or so.

Whats the odds I can cancel it and just order the Lariat instead...My escape currently has leather seats and heated etc...really going to miss some of that luxury i think...

 

Can't answer question, but I'm with you on wanting the higher end truck. I always want the highest end model I can possibly get!

 

I doubt they started production on your truck yet. I would call your dealer . They should be able to change it

 

I am in the same boat. I ordered mine 7 days ago, and wish I woukd have added navigation. Or upgraded to a Lariat

 

When I punch in the numbers he gave me to track it online it doesnt even show anything.
I think I will stop by tomorrow and maybe see what he says.

As long as you're still in "order processing" and not "production" status, you can change your order.

 

Only way to know is call your sales man/woman and ask.

 

Just call asap and order what you really want. Ford and every other manufacturer knows you are going to change your mind because they have been dealing with it for decades. I'm sure that's why they always wait 2 weeks or so to put the orders in.

 

Shouldn't be a problem to change.. You have to be happy.. fWIW why not get the XLT 302a and add some Katzskin leather to it after? That way you get heated seats and add th leather which if your going with a factory grade leather your about $1599 and you can customize the tubing and stitching to something that matches your exterior color maybe.. If you want high end leather it gets more expensive but either way you still save over the cost of the lariat.

 

do you get the LED's with the XLT 302a?
