Default Seat swap

Has anyone installed upgraded seats in their truck ? I'm trying to install platinum seats in my XLT .... wiring is not even close. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or has anyone attempted it? Air bags also an issue. Any info is very much appreciated

Might be a good place to ask, looks like OP did a full interior swap.

No he/we didnt. We just swapped our XLT dashboards with a Lariat....in that thread. What the op is referring to is the complete Platinum contour seat frame with covers and electrical connections....they are different as the Platinum has a different seat motor AND the large grey connector under the seat is populated for heat/cooled seats, massager etc. You really do need to buy the 72hr online shop manual and compare wiring diagrams for a Platinum's vin and yours.

I don't know, I haven't done this. This is just the path I've always taken when I make big changes like this. You have to compare electrical connections to see what has changed and or is different from what you have.
