Default Scratch Care

So today one of my co-workers backed into my truck. Honestly it is such a small scratch I normally would have an issue with it but since the body is a different metal, I thought I would ask and see if it's something figured should get fixed.
I know aluminum isn't supposed to rust but I know special care is supposed to be taken to keep other medal particles off of it.
What have ya'll done for your trucks?

Is that piece of the truck aluminum? I would think that's plastic/rubber.

Well now that I'm looking again I think it's a plastic piece.

Still curious for any future issues.

It could continue to chip/flake off because the coating is compromised. That part of the truck is subject to a little bit more stuff being the front and leading edge.

There are ways to make it look better. Not perfect but much better.

I always refer people to Larry at AmmoNYC on YouTube.
