Default Scab side window

My side window on my truck got broke by a rock and the body shop said it would be 8 weeks before he can get a window. 8 weeks is a long time for just a window,he said there was a national back order on the window. I would think Ford would have parts by now for damaged trucks. They need to step it up a little...

I would suggest you contact glass companies like Safelite and others. Both side windows for a SCrew or an SCab are in stock on Amazon. http://amzn.to/1jo1Id0

PM me your zip and I can try to find a distributor in your area. You may have to go get the glass, but I'm sure a drive is better than 8 weeks

Everything seems to be on national back order. One member had a minor accident with his truck, took the dealer more than 3 months just to get the parts! Soooo … long the insurance company wanted to cancel his rental car! After they finally got the parts, dealer then found they needed to order some special tools, then it took 3 weeks for repairs.

All happened on his family vacation in Florida, I think the thread title was "crash".

He said it was a laminated window and he searched everywhere for one. Ford told him they couldn't give him a date when they would ship him one.

That link is for the rear door, mine is the passenger side front door.

I found your reply quite amazing. No "hey thank you, I never thought to look at Amazon. I easily found the right window now."

Here it is.

Thanks, I'm sending the link to the body shop and see what they can do.

Why should I have to go looking for a window when it's their job to find and replace the window?
