Default Rust Prevention

I just got a new supercab and I want to stay on top of the rust. I live in PA and my axle/gearbox already has rust on it. I'm thinking POR 15 treatment on the axle but I would like to hear your ideas and what you used. What should I paint the brake calipers and the frame with?

You answered your own question. Por 15 is all I've ever used. If you go on their website they have caliper paint, top coats, etc.

POR15 is the way to go. I used it on my '15 axle and any rusty spots on the frame and after a winter. It still looks great.

In Canada, Krown is one of the best ways to protect against rust. Not sure how close you are in PA, but there is a Krown dealer here...

I just hit mine with Rustoleum. Cheap and easy to brush on.
