Question Running board extensions

This seems to be a problem with those of us 'older' folks around here. my truck, 2020 f-150 extended cab, 2 wd
The factory bracket tucks a big portion of the board tucked under and would work if it were a 'ladder', but, to get out of the truck one slides a lot over the edge of the seat because
it is too awkward to put your heel on the board. Any one have any thing to try?
Thanks

My 2020 Lariat no better. I'm a 6'2" guy and if I step on the board I can't duck under the door frame. I sit and scoot over.

You know what solves both of those issues easily? SuperDuty running board brackets. Go check one out to see if it's to your liking. No more kicking the kick panel, no more ducking to get into the truck, no more scuffed dress shoes.

Oh, and the power boards also fix those issues.

I don't care for the power boards, and want about an inch less drop than the SuperDuty brackets, so I'll be making adaptors at some point.

Quit almost 2 years ago the day of my heart attack after 45 years straight of at least a pack a day. I could still smoke one today hahaha. One must stay strong and determined.
