Default Rumble in steering wheel.

So I have a 2017 XLT 302A 5.0 super crew I bought Dec. 31 2017. When I was buying the truck, I took it for a test drive and noticed a rumble in the steering wheel when braking. The salemens said with it being a left over model he would have the rotors cut or sanded, forget the term he used. Anyway, test drove it again, problem gone bought the truck.

So now 11,000 miles on it, and again, I notice the same rumble in the steering wheel when braking. I don't think this is a common problem and feel the rotors should not need cut, especially twice.

Just wondering if anyone has had this issue. I also wonder if I should call the dealer and demand new rotors?

Any input would be appreciated.

it is a fairly common problem, the oem rotors are garbage. the warranty on brakes is 12k miles, so you better hurry up and get it to the dealer or youll be sol.

Thank you for the info. Have you had experience with this before? Do they replace the rotors and brakes or just cut the rotors?
