35= overall diameter of the tire.
12.50= width of tire
18= rim size

so you would need an 18" wheel. Do you have a leveling kit or a lift of any kind?

Offset refers to the position of the wheel mounting flange in relation to the centerline of the wheel. If a 9" wide wheel had a 0 offset, the mounting flange would fall right on the centerline, 4.5" from the front and back faces.
Negative offset moves the mounting flange towards the back face of the wheel thus pushing the whole tire and wheel out away from the body. Positive offset tucks the wheel/tire in closer to the body.

You need an 18" rim for those tires. The 18's offer a better bead seat.

The offset/backspace is not quite based on the center, I think it is 1/2" off center, or 12.7 mm.

Use a tire calculator and you'll see a 9" wide wheel at 0 offset is not 4.5.

https://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

If you do get questions, please don't say "I found a wheel with +12 offset and 5.5" back space, because you can't have one value that is not equal to the other. You get either +12 OR 5.5"....depends how the wheel is identified. A wheel manufactuer doesn't (shouldn't) say " +12 AND 5.5". They may list because some people may think in terms of how much back space, some may think in terms of offset.

The purpose of offset is to control how far inward or outward it sits. So you start with a 9" wide wheel and you apply a positive or negative offset. A negative offset will push the wheel outward.
