Default Rim offset question

Ok, searched through the forum and couldn't find what I was looking for so here we go...

Im looking into getting Moto Metal MO961 20X10 (Black and Red combo), but I fully want to understand how far my tires will stick out with a -24mm offset.

Any help would be much appreciated.

25.4 mm per inch. OEM offset is +44. +44 to -24 = 2.67717" difference. That's just the offset. OEM rims are 8" wide....so, with the 10" rim added to the offset, the total amount they would differ when compared to OEM is 3.67717"....and that's not adding any additional tire width.

you'll probably still rub with just a level

what size tire will you run
i rub a bit at full lock with 6 inch lift -12 offset plus 1inch spacer ( so -37 offset) with crash bars cut - also i have 1.5 inch fender flares and my tires stick out about another inch

-24 offset will be half an inch less- it'll really come down to tire width and aggressiveness - you may have to spread of cut crash bars

bad glare but you get it

I won't go any bigger than 33's, for now just getting the rims and leaving the stock dealer tires on there 275's. I wast just trying to see about how many inches outside the fender they would stick out. Thanks for the help.

Here is my truck 6" lift 35x12.50x22. Wheels are 22x10 with a -24 offset. Tires stick out a few inches past fenders and mine rubs the crash bars. There's no way I see this setup can be ran on a leveled truck without removing the crash bars.

Keep them flush. doesn't rub, looks better and doesn't sling as much mud.

If you keep them flush you're more likely to rub the upper control arms with a tire that wide.
