How does the Ford factory spray in compare to Line-X and Rhino in cost and quality?

Also, I noticed that in some installation pictures in this thread, the installer stopped short of the edge on the tailgate and bed (red pics) but in most others they wrap the edge on both... seems like wrapping the edge is a better way to go?

I liked the feel of the ford one, felt really similar to my rhino. The ford one also had a large ford oval in the front of the bed

Love my RHINO Liner. It's done with RHINO Hybrid. Sorry for the bad cellphone pics, I'll post better ones here soon.

So.... the hole in the tailgate? Why?

To add my .02, I have had and really liked Linex. My last truck(tundra) I had a BedRug. I loved it and will buy another one for my f150.

There's actually two Rhino Hybrids: 21-55 and 11-55. Neither are not quite up to the strength of LINE-X though. Both Hybrids are aromatic (will fade). But, fading won't be an issue if you use a tonneau cover.

I got the hybrid, it seems pretty darn tough and looks almost exactly like the Line-X I've had in the past, but time will tell of course. Actually I like the look of Rhino even more than my Line-X, but much of that is the guy who applied it, and personal preference, They do sell Rhino Shine Conditioner to bring it back to near-new condition, so I'll try that when the time comes.

I've had both in the past, and I prefer line-x, but that was a few years ago. Rhino might be just as good now.

Agree totally with this, Line-X was a much clearer choice in the past. It was the go-to liner. Now, I think Rhino has pretty much caught up, depending of course on who does the job and they have the right equipment.

Nope, not true. I have both Rhino and LINE-X technical data sheets which you can also get if you ask for them. LINE-X is superior across the board as far as tear strength, tensile strength, etc. And then there's LINE-X Premium and Platinum which I'm not sure Rhino even offers such products.

Here's an example: Standard black LINE-X (XS-100) tear strength 490 psi. Rhino Hybrid (21-55 and 11-55) tear strength is 325 psi. LINE-X is 51% stronger than Rhino Hybrid. By the way, the tests results are via the same test method which shows to be ASTM D624.

I don't doubt your numbers at all, I've had Line-X and liked it, I'll be interested to see how my RHINO holds up over time. It looks fantastic right now, but of course it would, it's nearly new and the guy installing it nailed the finish.

I've seen 10 year old hard used RHINO that still looks good, like my Line-X did, and the newer stuff is probably better than the old stuff so I have pretty high expectations. Time will tell.
