Reverse not working
My 2016 F150 Lariat intermittently will not go into reverse and requires the engine to be shut off then restarted in order to backup. Dealer has been unable to find the problem. Anyone else have this problem? It is getting to be a real aggravation when working in the forest.

If it works after you shut down and restart the problem is probably electrical not mechanical, meaning the transmission is fine. Are the parking sensors and backup camera coming on when you shift to reverse?
